Guardian Home

At Shih Tzu Lovins, we are pleased to offer a unique program for families that wish to have one of our cherished puppies that will become a part of our breeding program.

Under this program, Guardian Homes raise the puppy dog, maintaining it's good health with high quality food,  veterinary care as needed, grooming as required every 6-8 weeks for a Shih Tzu.  All expenses related to breeding would be our expenses as a breeder.  All other expenses would be the guardian homes, the same as owning a puppy dog.

All guardian homes would frequent visits to our home with the dog so they are used our home environment and to me.

When the dam is in heat, she would come to our home for 3-5 days to be bred. When she is about a week from whelping, she would come to our home & stay while she whelps & raises her pups until they go to their new home.  You would be able to visit her and the pups.

A male stud, would come to our home when dams are in heat to do his thing.

The health, welfare and emotional well being of every dog placed in this program are paramount importance to us.
